My Weekend...

I haven't had time to post much....been an awesome, yet busy weekend!

First and foremost, my gorgeous little Cupcake, Adelyn, turned 1 on Saturday. I am still in denial. Seriously, how could she be 1 already? She has been through so much already and is still the happiest, silliest little girl I know. SO on Saturday, the few family members that we have in the area came by and we all made cupcakes for her and just played and hung out all day. It was fun.

My cousin Nikki (20) and her baby boy Hayden (3months) came over on Friday night and spent Friday night and Saturday night with me since Nikki's husband works night shifts. Nikki's sister Kayla (18) came over Friday night also. After the kiddos went to sleep, we had a BLAST playing SingStar, watching movies, and playing with the candy claw machine. Seriously, it was the best time I have had in awhile. I almost NEVER have adult time, or adult interaction for that matter, off the internet of course, so this whole weekend was rather refreshing. Nikki and I watched The Pregnancy Pact, The Hangover, and Where the Heart Is, plus lots of Grey's Anatomy. Sunday afternoon we went to Stix (bar in Villa Rica) and watched a couple of her friends play poker.

It was also fun to snuggle Mr. Hayden all weekend, since he is still immobile and snuggly, unlike my baby! It just re-enforced my baby fever.

But all in all, it was a great weekend. My kids had a blast and both them and the dog behaved decently :)

A couple pics...

This is a pic of Nikki, her husband Zack, and their baby boy Hayden :) Nikki and I were raised as sisters, even though we are really cousins.

Dear Bella...

Dear Bella-

Hope my flip flop was good! Did you REALLY have to chew through a playstation controller though? I am glad the kids weren't attached to that teddy bear that no longer has eyes....or an ear for that matter. It's pretty funny that you ate Stacy's belt that I hated anyway, but Adelyn only got to wear her new one once for goodness sake. I had to run out to the grocery store yesterday to replace the loaf of bread you pulled off the pantry shelf and promptly devoured. And the toilet paper! How the hell did you open the bathroom closet, anyway?? I knew there would be trouble when you ate that crayon, but did you HAVE to puke it up on MY book? The wheel on my laundry cart wasn't technically a necessity, but I was quite fond of the chair that no longer has a LEG! We can replace the transformer, fur real friend, barbie doll, and jump rope that didn't survive your wrath, but the strap off of my camera is NOT cool!
Oh and don't expect me to leave you unattended in the house ever again. I learned my lesson very quickly...and the hole you TRIED to dig in front of the front door kinda helped. Who knew that doggie toenails could puncture hardwood so deeply?
You are super fun to talk walks with and the kids love playing with you outside, but if you don't stop barking at every single leaf that blows by, or if you pee on my favorite rug again, I swear, you will live in the garage.

Love,
Your DEVOTED, yet tired caregiver.

PS- Please stay out of the frickin' toilet and the cat food PLEASE!

Introduction...

A little about me, so you know a little something about me before you read my meaningless ramblings :)

Well, you already know that my name is Heather. I'm 23. I am your perfect in-between girl because I LOVE doing stuff outdoors, but I am also a pile on the couch and watch a movie girl. I LOVE camping, fishing, hunting, mudding, fourwheeling, shopping, gaming, movies, my dvr, music, my little girls, my pets, my husband, my life, the country, trucks, my Mustang, flip-flops, sweet tea, chinese food, red velvet cake, and storms. Not necessarily in that order though!

This is my husband Stacy...he and I are 16 years apart, but you would never know it since he acts like a 5 year old most of the time. Our anniversary is December 1st, and we were married in Gatlinburg next to a small waterfall :)

This is my oldest daughter, Katelyn. She goes by Katie 98.6% of the time. She was born on my 19th birthday in 2005, and has been going ever since. She is the first tomboy princess drama queen I have ever seen. It's quite a combination, I must say.

And here is the baby girl, Adelyn. Hard to believe she is turning 1 in 6 days. She has had 3 surgeries already in her short life, and although she only has 2 teeth, her smile can light the night sky. She has honestly been the easiest, happiest, mellow baby I have ever met, even though she has been through hell and back. She suffers from Pierre Robin Syndrome, Van Der Woude's syndrome, Cleft Palate, and Failure to Thrive. But all but 1 of those have been corrected :)

We have 1 dog named Bella who ironically we adopted only 2 days ago, but already she fits in our family almost better than I do :) She is SUPER protective of the kiddos and is a happy well behaved dog, and a good security guard already considering she barks at anything that moves in the dark haha. She is around 6-8 months old I am guessing. We also have a cat, Lightning, that we have had for almost 3 years. He is an outdoor cat becuase for some reason he didn't think that he should have to poop in a little box. He seriously thinks he is a dog and will follow you around to no end. He and Bella get along like water and oil, although I guess that is normal.

We live in Temple, GA. My husband and his family built our house in the early 90's for his Aunt and Uncle, who passed away in the early 2000's. My husband's parents live within earshot to the right of us, and next door to the left is his other Aunt and Uncle. I am actually an ex-Floridian. My whole family lives in central FL, and I try to visit them as much as possible.

My husband has a 7 year old son from a previous marriage. He comes over on the weekends. That situation is NOT a pleasant one to be honest. His ex-wife is the biggest biatch you could ever meet and well, we will just keep it at the whole situation is UNPLEASANT.

I think that is enough for the first day, don't you think? I told you I ramble.....
